Awesome and I love it!

Since you asked for improvement-tipps:
In my opinion, the bright dots on his nasal tip and under his left eye are still too accentuated - they make his skin there look too oily in comparision to the rest of his face. (Please note: that's absolut minor, I adore your portrait!)
The other light dots I find much, much better done, especially on the bridge of his nose, the ones around his right cheekbone and the ones ON his left eye (which I find is extremely well done as a whole).

That said, I'm going to get a bit enthusiastic about his hand: I LOVE how you painted it! Absolutely stunning! The veins, the fine shading - excellent! And I love the care for detail you put in drawing his body hair and his beard.
Oh, and his mouth is also well done - it isn't easy getting the lines of a slack mouth right , I presume. =]

First off... thank you so much for your sweet words, the favourite and these tips are highly apreciated.
As regards the bright dots on his nasal tip, I'll try dimm them a bit more.
Under his left eye, they were not dimmed since the wip, thank you for pointing this out.
Bridge of nose, right cheekbone, on left eye, all OK, good to know :).

If you're getting enthusiastic about his hand, I'm getting too. It was surprisingly easy for me to paint. The warm light (maybe coming from a fireplace)on the edge of his hand gave me some trouble. I used a broad oil brush for the beard among others, it was fun :D.
The mouth did consume a fair amount of time. Wasn't a piece of cake, you presume right.

Look, your sense of light is just amazing. I just think you could make your lines softer, cause it really makes your painting looks better. Did u used a tablet? I see some parts that could be softer - what probably would be a huge problem using the mouse, like the hair on his hand and the bright spots on his nose. The shadowing is great! Congrats! Hope my english haven't hurted u so much haha :P

Thank you for your Comment! Since it's my first painting, I shouuld be able to make good use of your advice.
Yes, I did use a tablet, and I can see your point about the bright spots on his nose. I'm glad to hear you liked the shadowing! :D
I had no problem with your english.:)

I'm not that great in painting, but i tried to see your work as a fan, not as an artist :D Maybe if you smooth the spots, too ^^ Yeah, I really loved. Did you used any especific brush on him?

Congrats again on the work, keep practicing \o/
haha, good to know :D

If you were seeing it as an artist, I believe you would have left a critique.
I smoothed the hair on his hand, and dimmed the lights on his nose. Take a look :)
I worked in Sumo Paint and used Airbrush 1,2,3,4, Dry Brush 2 , Oil Brush 5 and Chalk 3. That must be all :hmm:
I will.

Oh wow, that's a great first try at digital painting! All the details from the individual hairs of his arm to the facial hair were put in great, without looking out of place :) superb shading work too :D

Thank you! :huggle: You are so sweet! :aww:
I'm glad I got the hairs depicted nicely. I used my improvisation to get a seemingly natural result.:giggle:
Thank you for complimating on my shading, as well. Tends to cause me trouble some times, on traditional drawings.

I was going for a comic styel at first, but with working on it and while learning how digital brushes work, it started to become realistic. :saddummy:
